Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine mental health diagnoses, and develop, implement, and monitor effective treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, including session notes and treatment plan revisions, in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Exemplify outstanding customer service by responding promptly and empathetically to client inquiries, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including case managers and medical professionals, to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment for clients.
- Utilize creative therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients meet and exceed their personal and mental health goals.
- Engage actively in clinical staff meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and methodologies in mental health counseling.
- Contribute to any additional initiatives or tasks that support the overall mission of Embrace Psychology.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LPC with Embrace Psychology, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our telehealth model broadens access to care for underserved populations, making it critical for counselors to demonstrate sensitivity and adaptability in engaging clients from various backgrounds and with differing needs. This role requires a commitment to understanding and addressing social and cultural factors that impact mental health.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- Current and active clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Proven ability to set and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while ensuring their emotional safety.
- Demonstrated competency in completing documentation punctually and accurately in accordance with organizational protocols.
- Experience working with a broad spectrum of clients is preferred, showcasing your adaptability and cultural awareness.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on telehealth services.
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation is advantageous.
- Specific training or certifications in therapeutic techniques or modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
Embrace Psychology offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
