Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create tailored therapy strategies for each client, ensuring their unique needs are met effectively.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care, addressing various facets of a client's mental health.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, seminars, and training, staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this position, you will primarily serve individuals and families who may not have adequate access to mental health resources. This encompasses clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them through their struggles and facilitating pathways for recovery and wellness.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport-building with diverse clients.
- Proven ability to collaborate as a part of a healthcare team, enhancing client care through cooperative practices.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time Licensed Professional Counselor position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload. In addition to a comprehensive remuneration package, we provide a sign-on bonus for newly hired LPCs, designed to support your transition into our team.
