Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to understand clients' concerns and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
- Provide direct individual therapy using established therapeutic modalities, emphasizing evidence-based practices tailored to facilitate each client's growth.
- Collaborate with clients to create therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
- Utilize teletherapy technologies for virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients who may have transportation or mobility challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive and meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines, showcasing professionalism and care.
- Engage in ongoing education through training sessions, collaborating with peers to stay current with emerging practices and enhance therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The successful candidate will work with a diverse client population, including individuals contending with a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, and relationship challenges. Our practice is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care, ensuring that all clients feel understood and respected during their therapy sessions.
Qualifications
- A current and valid mental health license in the state of Georgia, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to clients' personal experiences, creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective management of caseloads and documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a private practice setting, demonstrating the capability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans independently.
- Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
- Proficient understanding of telehealth practices and technologies that enhance virtual client engagement and satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
