Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, enabling flexibility while maintaining connectivity with our multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals. Our outpatient office promotes a calm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that both clients and therapists feel comfortable and supported during sessions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges accurately and craft individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
- Provide therapeutic services through various modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrists, ensuring a cohesive approach to care that addresses both immediate and long-term mental health needs of our clients.
- Employ your crisis intervention skills to support clients facing acute distress or emergencies, offering reassurance and tailored support during challenging times.
- Participate actively in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client base includes a diverse array of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including low-income families, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and clients from different cultural backgrounds. Qualifications
- Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A completed master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective rapport-building with clients from varying backgrounds.
- Strong cultural competence and sensitivity, enabling you to work successfully with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.
- Proactive organizational and time-management abilities that ensure compliance with documentation and reporting standards within our practice.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of experience in the mental health counseling field is required, preferably within a community health or outpatient setting. We value candidates with a background in crisis intervention, group therapy facilitation, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits
