Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to ascertain clients' mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment paths.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the specific goals and needs of each client.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions for adult clients using evidence-based practices and solution-focused techniques.
- Utilize teletherapy to conduct virtual sessions, providing flexibility and accessibility for clients.
- Offer crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate support.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to remain current with mental health best practices and industry standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on adult clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. By employing a client-centered approach, you will work to build trust and rapport, creating a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. You will also support clients from various backgrounds and cultures, ensuring an inclusive and respectful therapeutic experience.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- Possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective therapy and collaboration within the team.
- Demonstrate a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude toward clients.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to manage caseload efficiently.
- No history of disciplinary actions with professional licensing boards.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating expertise and a solid clinical background.
- Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with digital mental health tools.
- Previous involvement in crisis intervention services.
