Millennia Counseling and Treatment Centre is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to enhance our therapy team in Atlanta, Georgia. This full-time, remote position allows you to provide essential client support and guidance, helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments with clients to identify their express goals and preferences, facilitating the development of personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to meet individual needs.
- Create, implement, and refine rehabilitation plans by considering each client's educational background, aptitudes, physical capabilities, and employment aspirations.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to design and optimize tailored rehabilitation programs.
- Maintain meticulous case files and client records, ensuring all documentation regarding eligibility, services provided, and client interactions is thorough and up to date.
- Regularly monitor client progress and adapt care plans as necessary to enhance outcomes, quickly identifying when adjustments are required for effective client support.
- Serve as an ongoing point of contact for clients engaged in job training and other therapeutic placements, addressing and resolving any challenges that arise to ensure their success.
- Engage with clients' family members and support networks to ensure holistic care and promote effective client-directed decision making.
- Generate timely reports that analyze client needs and progress, and make appropriate recommendations and referrals for additional resources when relevant.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders and anxiety, primarily in an outpatient rehabilitation context. Your work will influence the lives of individuals seeking to reclaim their sense of self and navigate their day-to-day challenges effectively.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
- Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
- Experience providing treatment in both residential and outpatient settings, particularly with clients experiencing mental health or mood disorders.

Preferred Experience
- Advanced clinical skills in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy techniques are a plus.
- Experience in maintaining accurate documentation and using electronic medical record systems to enhance client communication and care management.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
