Deeply Well Counseling, Ltd. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote capacity. Work Environment
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while still being part of a cohesive team dedicated to mental health support. The usual work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. Our digital working environment is equipped with modern technology, including electronic medical record (EMR) systems, enabling efficient communication and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client evaluations to assess individual needs, using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans for children and adolescents, tailoring approaches to suit diverse behavioral and psychological needs.
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions through evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, or family systems therapy.
- Employ effective behavior management strategies to navigate complex client situations and promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and data security.
- Participate in regular training and professional development sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health struggles, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. This demographic requires a compassionate and adaptive approach, as many clients may benefit from innovative engagement strategies that resonate with their unique experiences and challenges.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A minimum of two years of professional clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapy principles and practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish trust and effectively connect with clients.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems, facilitating accurate documentation and streamlined patient care.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive practices.
- Skills in crisis intervention and responding to emergencies effectively.
- Previous experience in a community health setting is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
