Work Environment
This position is designed for a 100% remote work setup, allowing you to deliver therapy from the comfort of your own home. You will have access to our user-friendly counselor portal, which offers all the necessary tools for streamlined operations, minimizing administrative burdens and allowing you to focus more on client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and ethical individual mental health counseling services through video sessions, ensuring comfort and confidentiality for all clients.
- Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Create, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing the specific challenges presented by your clients.
- Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to develop insights regarding their thoughts, feelings, and interpersonal relationships.
- Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process and assist clients in acquiring healthy coping strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will serve a diverse client population, primarily focusing on stable, low-acuity adults who may present a variety of mental health challenges. Your role will be instrumental in helping these individuals enhance their quality of life through skill development and therapeutic support.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
- A current, unrestricted state-issued mental health license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) allowing you to practice independently. Candidates with limited or provisional licenses will not be considered.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills characterized by empathy and a supportive demeanor.
- Strong computer literacy skills, combined with reliable internet access and a computer equipped with webcam capabilities for video conferencing.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical mental health setting.
- Proficiency in digital counseling platforms and client management software.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients, with a focus on fostering inclusivity and understanding unique cultural backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers competitive annual salaries ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, depending on hours worked and caseload. Full-time counselors also receive a monthly healthcare stipend and weekly direct deposits for your convenience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to enhance the onboarding experience for new team members.
