Key Responsibilities
Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities aimed at enhancing the well-being of our clients:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to formulate tailored, person-centered treatment plans that align with recovery principles.
- Regularly evaluate client progress and treatment efficacy, adapting strategies as required to meet evolving needs.
- Assist clients in creating and implementing individual service plans that address their unique challenges and goals.
- Provide direct support to clients, facilitating the development of essential coping mechanisms, problem-solving approaches, and communication skills.
- Advocate for clients by connecting them with necessary community services and resources, ensuring they receive holistic assistance.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on diverse individuals aged 18 and older who are impacted by mental illness. These clients may be coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health disorders that hinder their daily functioning. Your ability to provide empathetic and targeted support is crucial for fostering their community integration and enhancing their quality of life.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Current licensure by the state board: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
- Ability to practice independently without supervision, demonstrating strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
- No disciplinary actions on your license.
- Proficiency with technology and a reliable internet connection to support remote work.
Preferred Experience

- Direct experience in providing clinical services within a mental health or counseling setting.

Compensation and Benefits
