Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments and personalize therapy strategies to meet individual needs, employing evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing various methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and enhance client outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay updated on current mental health practices and research.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clients include individuals from diverse backgrounds, facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical or outpatient setting.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and legal/ethical standards in mental health practice.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technology.
Preferred Experience
- Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desired.
- Experience working in remote therapy or telehealth settings.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranges between $70,000 and $90,000, based on experience and caseload.
