Work Environment
In this role, you will have the convenience of working remotely while dedicated to an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments by meeting with clients to evaluate their mental health status and understand their individual needs and goals.
- Design personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, integrating evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate regular therapy sessions, whether individually or in groups, empowering clients with coping strategies and tools to manage their mental health effectively.
- Engage in ongoing communication with clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure progress and satisfaction.
- Provide resources and referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or community support services, as needed.
- Document client progress accurately using our EHR system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment approaches and share insights on client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. We emphasize cultural competence and respect for all backgrounds, ensuring that our therapeutic approaches are sensitive to the unique needs of each client. The role will involve working with a range of age groups and socio-economic backgrounds, which makes compassion and understanding pivotal in your daily interactions.
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A current, valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
- A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices, crisis intervention strategies, and a commitment to ethical standards in counseling.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive techniques to support diverse client populations.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with various computer applications relevant to counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits
