Love spending time with little ones? Volunteer to help supervise toddlers and children up to age 5 while parents attend programs.
Join LaAmistad, a leading organization dedicated to supporting Latino families in Atlanta. At LaAmistad, we create a welcoming environment based on friendship and relationships, helping students and families achieve their full potential.
We're looking for caring volunteers to supervise toddlers and children up to 5 at one of our 3 LaAmistad Birth to Five Programs.
What You'll Do:
- Help with set up and break down before and after programming
- Supervise children alongside another volunteer while their parents attend workshops
- No need for Spanish language skills or previous education experience-just a passion for helping others!
Time Commitment:
- Mondays, 3:00PM-4:40PM at LaAmistad Community Center in Sandy Springs
- Tuesdays, 5PM-6:30PM at Briarwood Rec Center in Brookhaven
- Thursdays 5:30PM-7PM at Church of the Incarnation in Chamblee
Requirements:
- Because you will be working with children, background checks for volunteers 19 and over are required.
This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, gain experience working with children, and make meaningful connections. If you're passionate about helping others and want to be part of an impactful organization, we'd love to have you!
NOTE: This opportunity does not extend to court ordered service. Please register on our website at laamistadinc.org/volunteer .
