Registered Nurse - GI Lab
Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab, where your expertise will directly contribute to exceptional patient care and advanced diagnostic procedures. This critical role supports a busy endoscopy suite specializing in a wide range of endoscopic and bronchoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty similar to GI or endoscopy nursing
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proven competence in handling high-acuity procedures and patient monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies
- Prior experience in a hospital GI or Pulmonology department
- Familiarity with sedation protocols related to endoscopic procedures
- Additional certifications related to gastroenterology or pulmonary nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license in the applicable state
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in an endoscopy or specialized outpatient setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a schedule from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM on a 13-week assignment
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Willingness to travel or receive reimbursements for licensure, certification, and travel expenses as applicable
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development

The hourly pay rate for this position is $45.49.
