OverviewWe are seeking a devoted Registered Nurse with pediatric hematology/oncology experience to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care during weekend night shifts. Required Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Current active RN license (verified via NURSYS report)
- BLS and PALS certification
- Proficiency with chemotherapy protocols and safety procedures (APHON Chemo Certification required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on weekends and either Monday or Thursday
Nice to Have Skills
- Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
- Previous experience in a pediatric oncology unit in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Experience working in a NICOTINE-FREE facility
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Pediatric hematology/oncology experience is required, with BMT experience considered an asset
Other Requirements
- Must have an active RN license at the time of submission
- Submission must include RTO preferences at the time of application
- Flu vaccination is mandatory; NO exemptions accepted (medical or religious)
- Must pass drug screening and be tested for nicotine-free compliance
