We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Oncology unit. This critical role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment where your expertise helps improve patient outcomes and brings hope to families during challenging times.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Active RN license at the time of application (verified through NURSYS)
- Valid BLS and PALS certifications
- APHON Chemo Certification required
- Strong ability to deliver safe, compassionate patient care and excellent customer service
- Experience with Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
Additional Skills that are a Plus:
- Previous experience in BMT or related subspecialties
- Knowledge of pediatric critical care
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records
Preferred Education and Experience:
- At least 2 years of pediatric Hem/Onc nursing experience
- Relevant certifications and ongoing professional development in pediatric oncology
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work weekend shifts, primarily Saturdays and Sundays, from 0700-1900
- Willingness to work on the third shift during weekdays, likely Monday or Friday
- Scrub color is flexible
- Must pass drug screening and be nicotine-free
- Mandatory flu vaccination (no exemptions accepted) per CHA guidelines
- Ability to start immediately, with placement beginning on or after 06/08/2026
- Compensation at $59.51 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit
