Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Pediatric or neonatal intensive care experience, particularly in level IV/surgical NICU settings
- Current PALS certification; NRP preferred
- Ability to manage complex diagnoses such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/post-op care
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Must pass a drug screen and testing for nicotine; no exceptions
- Mandatory flu vaccination—no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ventilator management and neonatal life support procedures
- Prior work in a NICU focusing on post-operative care
- Additional certifications such as TNCC or AWHONN NNDT
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
- At least 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience
- Familiarity with pediatric surgical conditions and complex neonatal diagnoses
Other Requirements:
- Must be tested for nicotine and pass drug screening with no exceptions
- Willingness to work night shifts from Friday to Sunday
- Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements
