Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, collecting relevant historical, behavioral, and psychological data.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's specific needs, utilizing various therapeutic approaches and strategies.
- Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions, drawing from modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
- Implement behavioral strategies to promote positive client outcomes, regularly measuring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical records systems effectively.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as training sessions and workshops, to enhance skills and remain current with best practices in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with adult clients experiencing a diverse range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our outpatient services emphasize a holistic approach, considering each client's unique life circumstances and cultural backgrounds. You will advocate for clients as they navigate their treatment journey, delivering culturally competent care to ensure inclusivity and respect.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is necessary for this position.
- Must hold current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred, as leveraging technology is crucial for efficient documentation and client tracking.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
