Job DescriptionLocation Address: 2500 Windy Ridge Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339Work Shift: Salary Exempt (United States of America) The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the accounts receivable process with a primary focus on cash applications, issuing credit memos, and managing other accounts receivable transactions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead a team in optimizing timely cash application and maintaining accurate financial records.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate application of cash receipts and resolving any billing discrepancies.Oversee the issuance and management of credit memos, ensuring compliance with customer contracts / agreements, company policies, and accounting standards.Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts receivable team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer service, Sales, and Operations, to address and resolve customer billing issues.Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts receivable function.Have a clear understanding of the company ABL and borrowing base calculations.Assist with month‑end closing activities and support audits as required.Advance the Altium culture and Guiding Principles.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with a strong focus on cash applications and credit memo issuance.Proven experience in leading and developing a high‑performing team.Strong knowledge of the order‑to‑cash process.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience in JD Edwards and industry‑leading automation software.Culture & BenefitsOur Guiding PrinciplesAct with Integrity & in ComplianceDrive Value CreationBe Disciplined EntrepreneursFocus on the CustomerAct with HumilityTreat others with Dignity and RespectSeeking Fulfillment in your WorkWe show our commitment to Total Rewards by providing a competitive, comprehensive benefits package.
