If you're passionate about numbers and purpose-driven work, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Coordinate with accounting firm partner on accounting entries, reconciliations, monthly close processes, reporting support, and required financial documentation.Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including receipts, invoices, approvals, payment records, and supporting documentation.Process and track reimbursements for staff, board members, volunteers, and approved representatives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.Process vendor payments, payment approvals, refunds, and related financial transactions through Quickbooks, Bill.com and other approved systems.Prepare and process annual invoices for chapter dues, assessments, and other chapter-related obligations.Process and document grant payments to chapters, scholarship payments, program disbursements, and other approved financial transactions.Support financial processing for conferences, meetings, events, sponsorships, registrations, refunds, and related revenue activity.Track donations, contributions, sponsorship payments, restricted funds, and unrestricted revenue in coordination with the Development team and accounting partner.Use QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, travel and expense systems, and other payment platforms to support financial operations.Assist with preparing financial information and materials for the CEO, National Treasurer, auditors, and Finance, Audit, Investment, Development, and related committees.Support internal controls, financial policies, process improvements, and confidential handling of financial, donor, chapter, employee, board, and organizational information.A full position description will be provided to applicants.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit environmentProficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify or similar platforms)Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit fund accounting principles requiredExperience with grant accounting and compliance reporting is a plusExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetAbout Us:100 Black Men of America Inc. is a premier mentoring and leadership organization with chapters across the United States, committed to improving the quality of life for Black youth and communities.
