Job SummaryCommunities in Schools of Georgia (CISGA) seeks a dynamic and results-oriented fundraising professional to join our team as the Director of Development. In this crucial role, the successful candidate will focus on building lasting relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new opportunities for portfolio engagement across diverse fundraising channels, such as corporate partnerships, special events, and individual giving. The Director of Development will work collaboratively within a team to drive growth that aligns with our mission and achieves revenue goals. Additionally, this role involves providing essential fundraising support to CISGA subsidiaries statewide, amplifying the impact of our initiatives and ensuring a consistent approach to achieving fundraising success. This is a full time, hybrid position.Tasks, Duties and ResponsibilitiesThrough annual development plan, secures financial support from individual, corporate donors and grantmaking partners with the goal of year-over-year growth; meeting revenue goals and metrics.Identifies potential donors to facilitate support for statewide expansion.Plans and executes fundraising campaigns and events to drive giving and create visibility opportunities for potential partners as needed.Seeks innovative opportunities that will generate meaningful collaboration, new revenue, or in-kind value for the statewide network.Builds and maintains relationships with donors and other stakeholders; oversees stewardship activities; ensures a high-touch response to partners and donors.Directs an annual fund program/campaign, including mailings and annual fundraising drives to grow individual giving year-over-year.Supports the involvement of the CPO and other staff (including the President & CEO), in high-level, high-touch individual solicitations and relationship management with briefing materials, agendas, background research and appropriate follow-up.Synthesizes CISGA's campaigns, programs and projects into clear, compelling proposals and reports for donors that serve to communicate CISGA's impact, while conclusively making the case for unrestricted/core support and conveying the impact of their contributions.Local network support: creates fundraising toolkits, training, and guidelines for the CISGA network as needed that advance local support.Uses technology to innovate fundraising solutions.Represents CISGA in external engagements with funders.Partners with the CPhO and the Resource Development team to develop annual projections and budget for the department.Monitors and reports on key performance metric progress, providing updates and insights to internal stakeholders.Develops, tracks, maintains and updates records donors and partners in CISGA's CRM, EveryAction.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.3+ years of proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of successful portfolio management. Non-profit organization experience preferred.Knowledge of Georgia's educational landscape is advantageous.Ability to think strategically and contribute to organizational growth.Skills:Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Excellent oral and written communication skills.High level of accountability and ownership for role responsibilities.Strong organizational abilities, including planning and execution.Strong project management and organizational skills with proven problem-solving abilities.Ability to work cross-functionally and build working relationships through collaboration, influence and negotiation to successfully accomplish a task.Excellent interpersonal skills.Proven ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous priorities.Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.Available to travel, work weekends and evenings if needed.Valid driver's license.#J-18808-Ljbffr
