About the RoleWe're urgently seeking Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean on-camera translators/interpreters to support live and recorded segments for the Marvel Rivals Ignite Grand Finals. You'll interpret in real time during live broadcasts, media days, and rehearsals. Comfort on camera, quick thinking, and an informal yet accurate style are essential. Gaming knowledge is welcome but not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide real-time interpretation between English and one language (Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, or Korean) during live broadcast interview segments (winner interviews, desk hits, short features)Media Days (filmed interviews, B-roll capture)Rehearsals and match days, accompanying teams/players when neededSwitch between consecutive and paraphrased simultaneous interpreting to match broadcast paceAppear on camera or be mic'd; follow producer cues via IFB/commUse an informal, audience-friendly tone while keeping meaning intactPrepare with production by reviewing scripts, names, team rosters, key terminology, and relevant esports vocabularyMaintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to NDAsRequired QualificationsNative or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, plus fluent EnglishLive interpreting experience (broadcast, live events, sports/esports, press, etc.)Comfortable on camera and speaking in front of a live audienceStrong listening and memory skills; clean, clear deliveryStrong interpersonal skills; able to work with talent, players, and productionAvailable for all listed dates in AtlantaMust be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. for the engagementPreferred QualificationsEsports or sports broadcasting experienceFamiliarity with gaming culture; Marvel Rivals knowledge is a plusIFB/clear-com communication experienceExperience in building quick reference glossaries and phonetic name guidesCompensation and LogisticsCompetitive day rate (based on 10-hour shifts)Per diem and approved local ground transportation during event daysTravel/lodging support for non-local candidates may be availableAll hires will complete credentialing, NDA/media release, and a basic background check#J-18808-Ljbffr
