In this role of Senior Manager, Data & Analytics – Sonic the ideal candidate will be critical in enabling the Sonic brand to understand business performance. The Senior Manager will develop recommendations to inform short and long‑term strategic decision‑making. This individual should be an expert at generating insights from data and communicating effectively with stakeholders.The Senior Manager will be a key resource for the brand in answering business questions efficiently and effectively, and requires strong thought‑leadership skills in order to assist with driving business decisions. They will manage a team that can answer a high volume of business questions in a fast‑paced environment all while maintaining a positive culture focused on team‑member development.This position is onsite in our Atlanta Support Center 4 days per week, typically Monday‑Thursday.ResponsibilitiesInsight generation – generate insights that improve the business through linking various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, etc.)Relationship management – develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partnersBusiness analysis – analyze brand performance and sales trends, including promotion and test analysisBrand performance – analyze and monitor key metrics across brand health, product performance, and guest experience, using deep knowledge of the brand and category to forecast future performanceKPI reporting – create and maintain reports that assess ongoing business performance, leading indicators, and explanatory factorsAd hoc reporting – develop, execute, and deliver reports based on brand business requirementsProject management – ensure that medium/long term projects are implemented on time and achieve objectivesTeam management – create a fun and dynamic team environment that enables impactful work and supports team member developmentArtificial Intelligence – proactively identify opportunity for AI to influence team productivity and quality of insightsEducation and Experience QualificationsMinimum 4‑Year degree preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or MathematicsGraduate degree preferred6+ years relevant experience in marketing, business analysis, data management / reporting, consumer insights, or other related area or an MBAExperience managing and developing teams preferredRequired Knowledge, Skills or AbilitiesIdeal candidate has an inquisitive nature and a passion for learning and solving problemsSelf‑starter personality who can operate with minimal supervisionUnderstands business principles and strategy, and possesses strong analytical skillsDemonstrated expertise in forecasting, test design, and causal analysis, including structuring and leading experiments and translating results into clear business actionsForward‑thinking perspective on using Artificial Intelligence solutions to improve team productivity and quality of insightsStrong proficiency in SQL required, along with experience using modern data environments and query tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or similar platforms) to analyze large datasetsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.)Ability to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant, understandable, and actionable for key stakeholdersAbility to balance multiple projects with competing deadlinesEffectively interact at all levels of the organization across multiple functional areasExcellent writing, presentation, project management and strong influencing skills requiredInterest in the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations, and a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire BrandsTeam management experience with clear examples of supporting team member growth and developmentMinimal travel may be required#J-18808-Ljbffr
