Key Responsibilities: - Operate instrumentation for tissue dehydration, section clearing, impregnation with paraffin, cutting tissue sections, and staining of slides
- Prepare solutions, stains, and reagents in accordance with standards written procedures
- Operate and maintain all histology area lab equipment in proper state of readiness, cleanliness, and sharpens and hone microtome knives
Requirements: - National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)
- Bachelors or Associate Degree
- ASCP or AMT
- BLS
