BCBA - Clinical Assessor
Apex ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate BCBA - Clinical Assessor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data analysis.
- Stay current with advancements in behavioral health practices and special education methodologies.
Skills
- Proficiency in Behavioral Therapy techniques, particularly with individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Strong understanding of Patient Care principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to behavioral health settings.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Experience in Special Education environments is preferred.
- Ability to document medical information accurately and effectively.
- Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies.
