Tax Specialist I
The Tax Specialist I position is for the individual with top-notch customer service skills, cash handling experience, and is detail-oriented. Cobb County offers a comprehensive benefits package. Office hours are 8 am – 5 pm, and this position is NOT remote. Positions available in all Cobb County Tax Commissioner's Office locations - Austell, Marietta, and Acworth.

A skills assessment will be administered onsite prior to interviews. Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 60% to advance in the hiring process. Please note, failure to complete this assessment will result in elimination from this position.
High School Diploma or GED required; previous experience in customer service, cashiering, or a related field preferred. Reliable transportation, ability to problem solve and manage conflict using proper research methods, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment while maneuvering between multiple programs are preferred.
