The Inside Sales Manager will lead and build our inside sales team at The McGee Group, a family-owned eyewear company headquartered in Georgia with a strong portfolio of licensed and proprietary brands (including Vera Bradley, Life is Good, and others). This role focuses on driving revenue from existing accounts (primarily eye care professionals/ECPs and specialty retail partners), supporting outside sales reps, activating underperforming accounts, and executing outbound campaigns tied to brand launches, promotions, and off-price inventory.

Position Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach inside sales representatives
- Establish daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, call coaching, and performance reviews
- Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer care
Revenue Growth & Execution - Drive revenue from existing accounts through reorders, refreshes, and new collection launches
- Activate inactive or underperforming accounts
- Support outside sales reps with quoting, follow-ups, samples, and account servicing
- Lead outbound sales campaigns tied to brand launches, promotions, and inventory objectives
Sales Operations - Ensure accurate CRM data, pipeline hygiene, and reporting
- Monitor key sales metrics including reorder rates, average order value, and conversion rates
Process, Systems & Tools - Help optimize CRM, phone, and email tools
- Develop call scripts, email templates, and sales cadences
- Create SOPs for inside sales workflows, sample requests, and account handoffs
- Improve efficiency and scalability as the team grows
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Marketing on lead flow, brand launches, and campaigns
- Partner with Product Development and Design to provide market feedback
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Finance, and Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience
- 5+ years of inside sales or sales management experience (B2B preferred)
- Proven experience building or managing a sales team
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into action
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Experience in eyewear, fashion, consumer goods, or wholesale distribution
- Experience supporting or working alongside outside sales reps
- Familiarity with D2C, Amazon, or e-commerce sales channels
- Experience in a family-owned or entrepreneurial organization
