Job Summary
A growing multi-state construction and design/build organization is seeking a Corporate Tax & Accounting Manager to oversee corporate tax preparation, financial reporting, and strategic financial operations. This role will work closely with company leadership to support financial planning, ensure compliance, and provide insights that guide operational and financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage quarterly and annual corporate tax estimates and filings
- Support financial planning and analysis for a multi-state construction organization
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, and working capital strategies
- Prepare financial statements and financial reports for leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and financial requirements
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Oversee company audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Provide financial insights and operational support to executive leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams to support company growth and financial performance
Qualifications
- Active CPA license in Georgia
- 10+ years of accounting or finance experience
- 5+ years of construction accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of WIP, percentage-of-completion accounting, and projections
- Experience with multi-state taxation for S corporations and shareholders
- Minimum 6 years of tax return preparation and review experience
- Experience preparing and filing federal and state tax returns for entities and shareholders
- Working knowledge of GAAP and external audit coordination
- Experience with ESOP structures, accounting, and governance preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
