Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgery

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience, with documentation of travel assignments
- Current BLS, PALS, PEARS, CNOR, and EMR certification (Epic RTO must be included at submission)
- Strong knowledge of neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and eye surgical procedures
- Ability to work varied night shifts, including 2 4’s, 2 8’s, and 2 12’s per six-week period
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and nicotine testing
Nice to Have Skills:
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Previous experience in neuro, orthopedic, ENT, or eye surgery settings
- Familiarity with CHOA protocols and requirements
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with active licensure
- At least 2 years of operating room experience in a pediatric surgical setting
- Proven history working in NICU or specialized pediatric units is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Flu vaccination mandatory for the flu season; no exemptions accepted
- Ability to work flexible shifts and fulfill call responsibilities
- Documentation of travel experience and supervisor/manager references preferred
- Must be free of nicotine and pass drug screening
