Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgery

Required Skills:
- Valid RN licensure with current state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room (OR) settings
- Proficiency in pediatric surgical procedures
- Current BLS, PALS, PEARS, and CNOR certification
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
- Familiarity with EPIC and RTO documentation at the time of submission
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in neuro, orthopedic, ENT, general, or eye surgeries
- Prior exposure to NICU or pediatric ICU settings
- Additional certifications in pediatric care or specialized surgical areas
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from accredited institutions
- At least 2 years of pediatric surgical nursing experience
- Proven ability to manage complex pediatric cases and collaborate in high-pressure environments
Other Requirements:
- Up-to-date flu vaccination (mandatory without exemptions)
- Negative nicotine testing
- Travel and licensure-related reimbursements where applicable
- Ability to work variable shifts including 8s, 10s, and 12s with required call coverage
- RTO requests must be documented on the coversheet
- Must pass drug screening prior to start
