Commercial Flooring Estimator
The Organization
ConstructionExecs is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established commercial Our client contractor in the Atlanta market. Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction professional to support ongoing commercial work and contribute to a disciplined estimating process.
Core Responsibilities
- Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate estimates for commercial Our client projects
- Document Review: Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Takeoffs: Perform digital takeoffs and quantity calculations
- Scope Tracking: Track addenda and scope changes issued by general contractors
- Bid Assembly: Assemble complete bid packages for submission
- Project Handoff: Support awarded project handoff to operations
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal preconstruction and leadership teams
Candidate Profile - Estimating Experience: Experience in commercial construction estimating
- Trade Experience: Our client or specialty trade experience preferred
- Document Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Communication Skills: Professional written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications Experience with commercial Our client systems, including carpet, LVT, hardwood, tile, stone, and underlayment assemblies, is a plus.
Compensation & Performance - Salary Range: Competitive base salary, typically $60,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
