Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of your clients, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide effective therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing diverse modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
- Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at empowering our clients and addressing common mental health challenges.
- Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
- Respond to mental health crises effectively, providing support and intervention during emergencies.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources tailored to their unique situations.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client privacy at all times.
- Engage in regular team consultations and professional development sessions to enhance skills and stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse population of clients dealing with varying degrees of mental health issues, including adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
- Strong expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities with a demonstrable ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families.
- Sound judgment, strong adherence to professional ethics, and the capability to establish and maintain professional boundaries.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in general computer applications relevant to clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with extensive experience delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations will be prioritized. A strong history of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is also considered advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
