Respiratory Therapist
Schedule
12-hour Night shifts with varying schedules from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty.
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- GA RRT license & RRT Certification (NBRC).
- Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
Responsibilities
- Conducting respiratory assessments and monitoring patient outcomes.
- Administering therapeutic treatments and managing ventilators.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Educating patients and families on respiratory therapies.
- Documenting patient care and treatment plans accurately.
