Radiation Therapy Tech
Provide specialized radiation therapy services ensuring precise delivery of treatment plans and patient safety. Collaborate with oncology teams to optimize treatment outcomes and maintain high standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols.
- Operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment accurately and safely.
- Monitor patient responses during treatment sessions and adjust as necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments and patient conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapy Tech within a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Possess current AHA BLS certification.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning software.
- Maintain licensing or certification required by state and industry regulations.
- Strongly prefer candidates with radiation oncology experience.
- Exhibit excellent patient communication and team collaboration skills.
