Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging seniors in conversation and recreational activities while encouraging an active, fulfilling lifestyle. This role focuses on companionship, social engagement, and ensuring the clients comfort and well-being in a safe and caring environment. The caregiver must also be comfortable working in a home with one cat and one dog. Responsibilities Provide warm companionship and meaningful social interaction throughout each shift.
Engage the client in enjoyable activities such as playing games, completing puzzles, doing arts and crafts, and having conversations.
Accompany the client on walks and encourage safe physical activity as tolerated.
Assist with community outings and recreational activities, as appropriate.
Ensure the clients safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
Encourage participation in activities that promote cognitive stimulation and overall quality of life.
Provide reminders and assistance with simple daily routines, if needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Qualifications High school diploma/GED
Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
First aid and CPR-certified
Basic computer skills
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
Ability to lift heaving objects
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work with limited supervision
Compassionate, respectful, ethical
High School diplomat
7 Year driving history from DMV
