Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Day shift, 3x12 hours (06:30 - 19:00). Weekend and call schedules are variable and will be discussed during the interview.
Assignment Details
Minimum contract length is 8 weeks; local candidates accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours will be determined by contract length.
Requirements
- 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel.
- Experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics required.
- Full compliance is required to start on time, including background checks and drug screens.
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, and no holiday requests will be approved during blackout dates of 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3.
- The unit does not accept first-time travelers.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to established protocols and standards of care.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patient conditions throughout the surgical process.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.

Compliance / Notes
Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine clinical fit. If clinically approved and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
