Job Description Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with specialized pediatric cardiovascular intensive care experience to provide high-quality patient care in a Children's facility. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care across NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU units, with potential to float to general pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Administer complex clinical interventions for pediatric patients in CVPICU settings.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on pediatric critical care practices.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid pediatric nursing license in hand at the time of submittal.
- Require at least 2 years of Pediatric CVICU experience in a children's facility.
- Possess BLS, PALS (AHA), and ACLS certifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR (preferred).
- Capable of passing clinical competency assessments related to pediatric critical care.
- Have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments.
