Schedule: Day Shift | 4 days 10-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday-Friday) | Call Required

About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in
Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional perioperative nursing care for complex cardiovascular surgical procedures while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes in a specialized cardiac operating room.
Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique.
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, and surgical instruments while assisting the surgical team throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes during the perioperative phase.
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical care and patient outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and interdisciplinary teams to support safe and efficient cardiovascular surgeries.
Requirements - Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License required.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience required.
- Pediatric CVOR experience preferred but not required.
- Must comply with the facility's mandatory influenza vaccination and nicotine-free workplace requirements.
