Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. This position requires exceptional clinical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be adaptable, with the capability to float between various Intensive Care Units (ICUs) as staffing needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Float between multiple ICUs, including NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) drips, including vasopressors.
- Utilize servo ventilators and collaborate with Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) when necessary.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 while ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Be available to float to general care areas if there is no ICU requirement.
Qualifications
- Active Georgia or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and PALS certifications are required.
- Experience in a Level I trauma facility is required.
- Availability to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs; candidates requesting both holidays off will be removed from consideration.
- Must be available for every weekend shift.
Shift Details
This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Block scheduling is not available.
Clinical Experience
Candidates should have proven experience with typical ICU medications and drips, including but not limited to:
- Managing patients on servo ventilators.
- Utilizing RRTs effectively within the ICU setting.
