Job Description Registered Nurse - PostpartumSchedule 12hr Nights, 7pm-7am, weekend shifts required.
Assignment Details Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 14
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, NRP
- Preference for experienced travelers due to high volume and pace
- MUST work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and practices
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in the medical record
