Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to critically ill newborns, ensuring comprehensive patient assessment and high-quality clinical support. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess neonatal patients to identify immediate and ongoing medical needs.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical conditions, documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate families regarding neonatal care and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in neonatal intensive care.
- Hold an active AHA BLS certification; NRP certification required.
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively during variable schedules, including major and minor holidays.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be eligible to work in the healthcare setting without restrictions.
