Job Description
Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care
Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour Days
- Schedule varies: 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience within specialty
- GA RRT license
- RRT Certification (NBRC)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and interpret results.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care and disease management.
Compliance / Notes
- Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
