Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Georgia SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates eagerly considered
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcomed
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities for working with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students in grades Pre-K through 12
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress reports, and required student records
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, IEP conferences, and student support planning sessions
- Serve as a collaborative resource to teachers and school staff to integrate speech-language strategies in the classroom
- Provide parent education and support to foster generalization of communication skills at home and in the community
