Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit
Schedule: 12hr Days, Schedule M-F 10a-10:30p
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Weeks: 14
Requirements:
- Min of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Required AHA ACLS & BLS certifications
- NIHSS Certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients recovering from surgical interventions
- Monitor and manage patient recovery, ensuring comfort and safety
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate optimal patient care
- Document patient progress and communicate with team members
- Assist in higher acuity cases, including thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery
Compliance / Notes: MUST work 2 major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
