Location:
- Based in Marietta, GA
- Coverage across a family of four independently owned pharmacies within the Atlanta metro area
Schedule:
- Per diem position initially, with potential to expand up to 30-35 hours per week
- Typical hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform primary retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling
- Manage a volume of approximately 100-150 prescriptions per day
- Handle specialty medications, including preparation and packaging for delivery via mail and courier services
- Float between up to four pharmacy locations, adapting to diverse patient populations and site-specific workflows
- Utilize PrimeRX pharmacy software (experience preferred)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse patient base
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple sites
- Familiarity with specialty medication handling is a plus
