You will provide compassionate care and assistance and document clients' progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing.If you have the following requirements and qualifications, we want you!Salary: $13 per hourShift: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am to 5pmQualifications Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification requiredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of one (1) year of full-time professional experience in a healthcare setting required; three (3) to five (5) years preferredPrevious experience in a home health care environment strongly preferredStrong verbal and written English communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and conversational abilitiesCompletion of at least eight (8) hours of personal care-related training annuallyWillingness to attend professional meetings and training sessions as directedAbility to work under supervision and demonstrate competency in providing quality client careExperience in housekeeping, domestic work, or related services is a plusAbility to safely lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility needsPatience and the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situationsWillingness to assist with both personal care and household tasks as requested by the clientDependable, punctual, and reliableWarm, compassionate, and client-focused attitudeCommitment to treating all clients with dignity, respect, and professionalismAbility and willingness to comply with all agency policies, legal requirements, and healthcare regulationsRequirements Valid Driver's License or State-Issued Identification CardCurrent PCA (Personal Care Assistant) CertificationCurrent CPR Certification CardCurrent TB Test ResultsSocial Security CardVaccination Record/CardExisting Fingerprint-Based Background Check (preferred or required, as applicable)CLIENT NEEDS:1 Personal Care Assist client with washing and hygiene. Change her clothing and/or incontinence products as needed. Ensure she is clean, comfortable, and repositioned properly in bed. 2 Mobility Assistance Use the Hoyer lift to safely transfer client from the bed when needed. Assist her into a seated position for lunch. After the meal, assist her back into bed and ensure she is properly pulled up and positioned comfortably. 3 Feeding Feeding assistance is not required. However, ensure her meal is within reach and that she is safely positioned while eating. 4 Housekeeping Empty the trash as needed. Fold the laundry. Keep the bathroom clean and tidy. Maintain general cleanliness of the house. Vacuum the floors regularly. Additional Notes Ensure client is always positioned comfortably and safely after transfers.
