We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
- Assist in medical procedures and surgeries as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Prior experience in critical care or hospital medicine preferred
- Proficiency in Athenahealth or similar electronic medical record systems
- Strong anatomy knowledge and clinical skills
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
