Wound Care RN Opportunity
Seeking a Wound Care RN to provide specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care for patients. This role involves delivering expert clinical services and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' wounds and develop personalized care plans.
- Implement and monitor wound care interventions according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment.
- Document patient progress and treatment details using Cerner systems.
- Educate patients and families on wound management and preventative care.
- Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in wound care.
- Possess AHA BLS certification.
- Obtain and maintain CWOCN certification or be willing to pursue it.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner electronic health records.
- Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
