Job Title
Commercial Sales Trainee 2027
Position Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking motivated and driven individuals to join our 2027 Commercial Sales Training Program. This opportunity prepares early-career sales professionals for an Account Executive role representing one of Shaw Industries’ leading commercial brands—Shaw Contract or Patcraft.
Shaw’s commercial brands provide innovative flooring solutions for spaces where people work, learn, live, play, heal, and connect. Serving markets such as workplace, healthcare, hospitality, education, and multi-family, our commercial sales teams partner with architects, designers, end-users, and other customers to create flooring solutions that support both the function and design of a space.
Following completion of the Commercial Sales Training Program, trainees will transition into an Account Executive role with either Shaw Contract or Patcraft in an assigned sales territory. Candidates should be open to relocation based on available market opportunities.
What does a Commercial Account Executive do?
Commercial Account Executives are responsible for executing the sales process within their designated territories while building and maintaining strong customer relationships. A comprehensive understanding of our products, applications, and the commercial flooring industry is essential to success in the role.
Account Executives work with a diverse range of customers and industry partners, including architects, designers, end-users, and other key decision-makers. They are responsible for identifying sales opportunities, developing relationships, delivering product and industry presentations, and helping customers identify flooring solutions that best support their projects.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, personable, and able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. Strong judgment, decision-making skills, relationship-building abilities, and a desire to learn are essential.
