We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Sandy Springs, GA. This full-time, in-person position will provide direct support to three attorneys across a diverse practice commercial real estate, corporate, and estate planning/probate. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and case types simultaneously. Salary for this role will be 70-85k depending on level of experience, and the firm offers a benefits package including 401k matching and healthcare benefits. The firm is willing to train candidates with some, but not all, of the experience below.Key Responsibilities General Support Communicate professionally via mail, telephone, and email with team members, attorneys, clients, courts, vendors, and other partiesOrganize and maintain physical and electronic filesProcess incoming and outgoing mailCalendar all court proceedings and deadlines with remindersIRS Matters Prepare various IRS forms and correspondence regarding reduction of debtPrepare correspondence and noticesDraft various pleadings and discovery shell requests and responsesE-file with courts, including Magistrate, State, Superior, Probate, Appellate, U.S. District, and Bankruptcy CourtsMonitor all case filings; save and circulate as neededPrepare and record claims of liensReview purchase and sale agreements; prepare and calendar critical deadlinesResearch state and county sites to determine and/or confirm ownershipRequest title exams, updated surveys, Phase I/PCA reports, and zoning reports through various vendorsReview title commitments; draft title objections and responsesDraft and circulate sale/purchase closing documents, including transfer deeds, assignments of purchase and sale agreements, affidavits, UCC statements, corporate authority documents, and settlement statementsAnalyze leases to draft form Estoppels and/or SNDAsCoordinate closing logistics and disbursement of fundsPrepare PT-61s; record deeds, mortgages, assignments, cancellations, and UCCs in appropriate county/state court sitesCorporate Transactions Submit entity registrationsObtain Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) via the IRS websiteObtain certificates of good standing and other corporate documents from the Secretary of StateDraft basic organizational and corporate authority documentsOrganize and maintain corporate recordsMonitor and file annual registrationsUpdate and finalize estate documents in preparation for client meetingsQualifications Prior paralegal experience preferred, ideally supporting multiple attorneys in transactional areasFamiliarity with e-filing systems across Georgia courts (Magistrate, State, Superior, Probate, Appellate) as well as U.S. District and Bankruptcy CourtsExperience with real estate closings, corporate filings, or estate planning documentation is a plusStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with standard office software and legal calendaring/time-entry systemsAbility to work full-time, in-person in Sandy Springs, GA#J-18808-Ljbffr
