Cherokee County Solicitor-General's OfficeThe Cherokee County Solicitor-General's Office has an immediate opening for an Assistant Solicitor-General. Job duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing and evaluating misdemeanor cases, filing accusations, arguing motions, conducting plea negotiations, managing pretrial diversion cases, handling the trial of misdemeanor cases, probation revocations, and appeals.Minimum QualificationsApplicant must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and a member of the Bar of the Appellate Courts of Georgia. Those who have just passed the Bar and are awaiting swearing‑in may also be considered.
